Teak is one of the most popular hardwoods in the world. Its natural high oil content makes it very durable. Teak can resist warping, rot, termites and other insects. Teak will last for decades. Teak can withstand the harshest weather conditions, including salt, sunlight, snow and rain. Because of the unique properties of teak, it has been the choice of sailors for centuries. Teak wood is not only strong and durable, but also beautiful in appearance and touch. Its complex texture patterns and color changes make each piece unique. No other hardwood can match the softness, warmth and silky feel of teak that is rich in oils. When teak is exposed to outdoor climates throughout the year, it will gradually turn silver gray over time. In order to maintain the rich golden finish and improve the quality of grains, golden teak oil/sealant should be used every year. Teak can be ignored all year round. Whitecap teak products are made from kiln-dried, fully aged teak. In order to ensure strength and durability, each of our handmade products uses traditional assembly techniques, such as dovetail joints. All screw fittings are sunk and blocked. Only use high-quality waterproof glue. Each product has been hand polished and polished, showing a rich and elegant luster. No other types or sources of wood are used in our products. All our products are made of solid teak.
