Description
Anodes, also called “sacrificial anodes” protect below the waterline (hull) and contain metal parts to fight against corrosion. They are a more electrochemically “active” metal that are attached to the part to be protected and the anode sacrifices itself with its inferior metal grade. Usually, anodes have to be replaced once per season, even more frequently in aggressive waters.
